Zenon E. Kohut

A prominent historian and a former Director of the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, Dr. Zenon E. Kohut is the author of many scholarly articles and books including Російський централізм i українська автономія. ліквідація гетьманщини, 1760–1830, Коріння ідентичности: Студії з ранньомодерної та модерної історії України, and Making Ukraine: Studies on Political Culture, Historical Narrative, and Identity. He is co-author of Historical Dictionary of Ukraine and co-editer of Culture, Nation, and Identity, The Ukrainian-Russian Encounter, 1600–1945 (2003).
