Mykola Zerov (1890–1937) was a poet, translator, teacher, and literary historian. He was a Professor of Ukrainian literature at the Kyiv Architectural Institute, Kyiv Co-operative Tekhnikum, and the Kyiv Institute of People's Education. He also taught the theory of translation at the Ukrainian Institute of Linguistic Education.
