Nicolae Pavliuc is professor Emeritus, University of Toronto. He is the author of Limba Ucraineana: Curs practic (1963), Curs de gramatica istorica a limbii ucrainene (1964), and over 50 articles on Ukrainian dialects, language, literature, and pedagogy, as well as other grammars and textbooks.
