Ivan Maistrenko (1899–1984) was part of the younger generation that participated in the revolutionary national-liberaton struggle between 1917–1920. Afterwards, he penned many articles on political, economical, socialist and theoretical subjects under his own name and under the pseudonyms Babenko, Dalekyi, Korsun, Radchenko, Hrebinka, Avgur and others. He died in Munchen, Germany.
